Engaging Women and Girls of Color Initiative
Engaging Women and Girls of Color (EWGOC) is a community-driven platform that uplifts the voices of women and girls of color, including trans individuals, to lead conversations and shape solutions around their well-being. Designed for ages 10 and up, the initiative empowers participants to share their stories, address disparities, and thrive.
Our Approach
The EWGOC Initiative aims to invest in, collaborate with, and promote grassroots organizations across Philadelphia that support women and girls of color, with a focus on addressing disparities at the intersections of behavioral health and four critical areas:
- Income gap.
- Holistic health.
- Educational attainment.
- Political leadership.
