24-hour Suicide Prevention and Crisis Intervention Services
Help is available 24 Hours a Day, 7 days a week.
DBHIDS operates a 24-hour call center to assist people and their families with behavioral health crises.
Callers needing help or persons wanting to obtain help for others can call 215-686-4420 at any time of the day or night for the following problems:
- Depression
- Feelings or thoughts of wanting to harm themselves or others
- Feelings of hopelessness, worthlessness or that no one cares about them
- Difficulty dealing with various life stresses
- Anger issues
- Addictions and substance use problems
- Relationship problems
- Other emotional issues or stresses
Compassionate, trained professionals answer all calls 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Callers will have the opportunity to discuss their problem and will receive appropriate counseling, guidance, assessment and referral for prompt treatment or other services if necessary.
