Heat Safety eLearning Course and 2021 Policy/Resources Now Available

April 26, 2021

With summer approaching, a Heat Safety eLearning course and Heat Safety Policy (includes Philadelphia resources, handouts and checklists) are now available for Provider Agency staff and DBHIDS employees.  Information regarding the specific behavioral health services the policy applies to, as well as staff training requirements and deadlines, can be found on pages one and two of the Policy.  We urge you to complete the course, use preventative measures, and educate program participants as quickly as possible, as heat waves earlier in the season often result in higher rates of mortality.  To access the eLearning course and Policy, click here.
