This project seeks to promote mental health and wellness in partnership with state Rep. Joseph Hohenstein’s office by increasing access to and awareness of the behavioral health, mental health, addiction services offered by DBHIDS and various treatment providers.
Through intentional and ongoing sustained community engagement, this project aims to connect residents with vital resources and supports. With the addition of hands-on gardening opportunities, it gives all community members, regardless of accessibility needs, the ability to connect to nature and be in touch with ‘roots’ and encourage overall physical and mental wellness.
