In recognition of International Men’s Day, DBHIDS’ Engaging Males of Color initiative invites ALL to a meaningful gathering dedicated to supporting men’s mental health and well-being. Join us from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 19 at the Behavioral Health Training and Education Network (BHTEN) at 520 Delaware Ave., Philadelphia 19123.
This event will feature a dynamic keynote speaker and three interactive breakout sessions designed to educate, empower, and equip participants with tools for healing and resilience:
- Supporting Men’s Mental Health – Exploring approaches to emotional wellness and support.
- Fatherhood and Mental Well-being – Understanding the emotional landscape of fatherhood and building balance through connection and care.
- Creating a Crisis Response Plan (Introduction to Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP) Session) – Developing personalized strategies for maintaining wellness and managing crisis moments.
Together, we will affirm men’s experiences, strengthen community, and advance the shared vision of hope, healing, and zero male suicide.
