The DBHIDS Division of Intellectual disAbility Services and its Public Awareness Committee are pleased to announce the winners of the 33rd annual “My City, My Place” Brighter Futures Awards.
Join us for a day of celebration and learning together. Morning learning sessions will be available as well as a resource area with exhibit tables, artists, and entertainment.
Stay for the luncheon where we will honor all nominees, honorable mention winners, as well as awardees, and special guests. The Mistress of Ceremonies will be Loraine Ballard-Morrill of iHeartMedia.
Nominees are community members or groups who make a difference in others’ lives and support individuals registered with Philadelphia Intellectual disAbility Services.
The Brighter Futures Awards are for individuals from all walks of life: neighbors, people with disabilities, teachers, friends, family, employers, co-workers, spiritual leaders, civic groups, organizations, self-advocates, medical professionals, political leaders, and business owners.
