‘My Sister’s Keeper’ Video and Photos

The DBHIDS Engaging Women and Girls of Color (EWGOC) initiative brought together nearly 200 people Sept. 19 for its second annual “My Sister’s Keeper” symposium focused this year on Supporting Future Generations.

The community-centered event highlighted collective care, unity, and empowerment, creating space for reflection, healing, and shared learning about the vital role women and girls of color play across generations. Attendees enjoyed performances, storytelling, a keynote, a panel discussion, and free breakfast, lunch, and giveaways at the DoubleTree by Hilton Center City.
