Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day Art Show Accepting Submissions

DBHIDS invites children and youth artists in the Philadelphia area to submit artwork for inclusion in the May 2 “Finding Help; Finding Hope” art exhibit.  DBHIDS is looking for artists from the children’s behavioral health community to be part of this event aimed at recognizing the talent of children and youth living in Philadelphia who are experiencing mental health and/or substance abuse challenges, and/or are living with intellectual disAbilities. Participation in the event is open to children and youth receiving support throughout Philadelphia’s Department of Behavioral Health.

Interested artists should complete a Registration Form and submit it no later than April 18.  Space is limited and spots will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

When submitting your consent form, please also prepare and submit the following forms:

An Opening Celebration for the art show will be held at 1 p.m. on May 2. The exhibit runs May 2-10, 2016, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Community Behavioral Health, 801 Market Street, 11th Floor, Conference Room 1154A, Philadelphia, PA 19107. All children and youth who attend the opening event need to be accompanied by an adult.
