Supporting Trans Communities: A Forum
November 10 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
What challenges face transgender individuals in Philadelphia? Where can they turn for help? What recourse do they have in the face of discrimination?
Please join us on Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. for an event centered around the voices of trans community members in Philadelphia. Individuals will share their experiences directly with service providers, policymakers, and other supporters, and offer their perspective on how systems can best serve individuals and communities.
This free, virtual event is hosted by the City of Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services (DBHIDS), the Office of LGBT Affairs, and Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission.
