Sexual Assault and Harassment Symposium: Ending the Cycle Where you Live, Work, and Learn
May 17, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm
The Engaging Males of Color (EMOC) Initiative of DBHIDS is in partnership with the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission(PHRC) in planning this symposium that will feature a plenary with Jennifer Storm, four workshops, and is highlighted by special guest speaker, Tarana Burke — leader of the #MeToo Movement.
The event will:
1. Educate and investigate issues around sexual harassment
2. Increase knowledge of resources for communities to address sexual harassment
3. Assist community members with courses of action to address sexual harassment
4. Address trauma associated with sexual harassment and available resources
I hope that you will be available to join us for this important symposium. We are confident that it will promote a deeper understanding and healing for all in attendance.
