Provider Town Hall: Vaccine Mandate
October 4, 2021 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
DBHIDS understands the challenges that much of our provider network faces throughout these unparalleled times. We would like to invite you to attend a virtual town hall to address concerns regarding Philadelphia’s vaccine mandate for healthcare workers. DBHIDS has partnered with the Philadelphia Department of Public Health to provide accurate, reliable information about the mandate and respond to our provider network’s concerns.
DBHIDS leadership and Acting Health Commissioner Dr. Cheryl Bettigole will be available at 4 p.m. Oct. 4 to engage in meaningful dialogue about COVID-19 vaccines.
The town hall will be open to participation for any employee of organizations within the DBHIDS network, including intellectual disability, mental health, substance use, and housing/homelessness services. You may submit questions or concerns ahead of time upon registration. We hope the town hall will offer support and comfort as we continue to navigate these challenging situations together.
If you or a colleague are struggling with the mandate and experiencing reluctance in getting vaccinated, please review this DBHIDS vaccine hesitancy webinar to learn more about the myths and facts regarding the safety of the vaccine.
And while you’re thinking about the vaccine to protect your body, don’t forget to think about how these past 18 months of stress and anxiety have also affected your behavioral health with the DBHIDS Boost Your Mood campaign. Learn more at DBHIDS.org/boost.
