The event is designed to amplify the Engaging Males of Color (EMOC) initiative’s mission while building solidarity across DBHIDS units dedicated to inclusive wellness. \nCLICK TO REGISTER \n“Laughing Through It” is a healing-centered live comedy and conversation experience hosted by the DBHIDS Engaging Males of Color (EMOC) initiative. Created as a vibrant community gathering\, this one-of-a-kind event blends the transformative power of laughter\, storytelling\, and culturally grounded dialogue to support the mental and emotional well-being of men and boys in Philadelphia. \nThis experience is rooted in the understanding that humor and storytelling are more than entertainment — they are time-honored tools of emotional processing\, resistance\, and resilience within communities of color.
