The City of Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services (DBHIDS) is proud to host the 16th Annual Faith and Spiritual Affairs Conference on Friday, April 28. This year’s theme is “Healing from the Hurt with Trauma-Informed Care.”
The conference will focus on ways to motivate, equip, and heal from the trauma we experience as a city from violence, substance crises, the impact of the pandemic, poverty, and systemic racism. We will have workshops, testimonials, speakers, and resources to offer guidance, healing opportunities, and emotional wellness.
We have been apart for far too long. After two years of hosting the conference virtually, we will be in person Friday, April 28, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the DoubleTree Hotel, 237 S. Broad St., Philadelphia 19107.
There will be a continental breakfast provided from 8 to 9 a.m.
