We are excited to announce that the 2025 Faith and Spiritual Affairs Conference will take place April 24. This year, we will focus on the crucial topic of “Suicide Prevention for Youth and Young Adults with Support from the Faith Community.”

To make this 19th annual event a success, we are seeking passionate and dedicated volunteers to assist in various roles. Your time, skills, and enthusiasm can help create an inspiring and meaningful experience for all participants.
Volunteer roles
- Greeters
- Welcome attendees; direct them to registration and workshops; assist with logistical questions.
- Attend a one- to two-hour walk-through at the venue to discuss logistics prior to the conference.
- Lead greeter
- Coordinate a team of greeters to ensure a warm, welcoming, and organized environment for attendees.
- Attend a one- to two-hour walk-through at the venue to discuss logistics prior to the conference.
- Moderator
- Introduce speakers, facilitate discussions, and manage Q&A sessions during workshops (if required).
- Attend a one-hour training for moderators prior to the conference.
- Moderator trainer
- Provide a brief training for moderators on session management and engagement techniques.
- Assist presenters as needed leading up to the conference.
- Proposal reviewers
- Review workshop and presentation proposals to ensure alignment with the conference theme.
- Provide feedback to the proposal team for proposal selection.
