works with DBHIDS staff and providers, response partners, and the community to prepare for, respond to, recover from, and grow stronger after emergency incidents and disasters.<\/p><p>EPRU\u2019s current initiatives include:<\/p><ul><li>Emergency preparedness planning<\/li><li>Continuity of operations\/business continuity planning<\/li><li>Training and technical assistance<\/li><li>Community and disaster response<\/li><li>Interagency collaborative initiatives<\/li><\/ul><p>These activities are intended to:<\/p><ul><li>Support the Department, providers, and the community<\/li><li>Build a culture of preparedness and resilience<\/li><li>Ensure that business functions and community services can continue during and after an emergency<\/li><li>Develop a more efficient and effective
