Department of Human Services\u2019 Office of Developmental Programs to administer services in Philadelphia County. IDS works with the Commonwealth and service providers to offer quality supports and services so individuals will have choices in their lives, meaningful relationships, and the opportunity to participate in their community as valued citizens.<\/p><p>We at IDS keep the emphasis on \u201cability,\u201d rather than disability, so we use the big \u201cA\u201d and little \u201cd\u201d in spelling our name, which can be seen on our letterhead, signage, and elsewhere.<\/p><p>As with all divisions of DBHIDS, the division\u2019s ultimate goal is to meet the needs of all Philadelphians,
