Amanda N. David<\/strong> is Chief Program Officer of the City of Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services. In this role, Amanda oversees the Behavioral Health Division and the Department\u2019s delivery of a comprehensive range of behavioral health services for adults and children, including prevention, intervention, treatment services, emergency and crisis intervention, social and psychiatric rehabilitation, individual and group counseling, family support, residential support, outreach, and recovery support. Amanda oversees an extensive network of contracted provider agencies located throughout Philadelphia, including multiple community mental health centers, substance use disorder treatment programs, specialized behavioral health agencies, and crisis response centers.<\/p>

Amanda began working for DBHIDS in 2007 focusing on programming, operations, and performance monitoring, serving most recently as the Single County Authority overseeing prevention, intervention, and treatment for substance use disorder. She has also worked as a program analyst in the TIP unit, specializing in homeless programs, as a supervisor in the Network Improvement and Accountability Collaborative (NIAC) Unit, and Special Advisor for Programming and Operations in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner for Administration, Finance, and Quality.<\/p>

Amanda is a native Philadelphian, and is a graduate of the Philadelphia High School for Girls. She is a licensed social worker and holds a master\u2019s degree in social work from Temple University and a bachelor\u2019s degree in social work from Evangel University.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
