The expectation of safety in our own city, in our own homes, was shattered once again this week when an armed man walked through the city\u2019s Kingsessing neighborhood, shooting and killing five people and injuring several more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My heart goes out to those who suffered physically \u2013 and to those who continue to experience trauma and grief from this tragedy, including family members, friends, neighbors, and community members, as well as emergency first responders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please know in this time when it is difficult to find that sense of safety within our city that you are not alone.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
