Peer Ambassador Program

Peer Ambassadors are beacons of hope who demonstrate that recovery is achievable.

This initiative offers individuals with various lived experiences the chance to gain meaningful work experience, build confidence, and strengthen their understanding of DBHIDS programs, resources, and community initiatives.

As valued members of the team, Peer Ambassadors bring a unique peer perspective to meetings, trainings, and community events. They assist with outreach activities, provide input at multiple levels of the system and help connect individuals to resources all while modeling hope and resilience.

If you are interested in becoming a DBHIDS Peer Ambassafor, please contact Kennya Smith-Johnson at Kennya.Smith-Johnson@phila.gov.
